About Me
I came upon acupuncture somewhat accidentally. I was having health issues of my own, and after seeing many specialists and having a myriad of tests done, there were no answers or relief. While on a cruse with family, I discovered there was an acupuncturist on board. I thought “It’s vacation, why not?!” After talking with the acupuncturist and experiencing this amazing medicine for myself, I was hooked. After many months of being ill and combining acupuncture with other alternative therapies I was 100% better, no more medications, tests, or specialists. This began my journey into getting my degree and being able to provide acupuncture and Chinese medicine to my community.
I received my Mater’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at New York Chiropractic College in upstate New York. I have been practicing this amazing medicine since 2015 at my office in Bedford, PA.
Throughout my training, I completed over 3,000 hours of education in biomedicine, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and hands-on training in several clinics in the upstate NY area. I also completed a three week internship in Hangzhou China, at an integrative Chinese Medicine Hospital. There, I was able to observe and learn from the masters of several generations worth of knowledge.
I feel so fortunate to be able to serve this area and provide a more natural and safe approach to their treatment options. Seeing someone have less pain and more quality of life is so rewarding, and I feel honored to be part of their healing journey.
